AIIU is always pleased to hear from families who are interested in becoming an AIIU Host Family.

All we require is that you meet the following criteria -

• have a genuine interest in hosting an overseas student (Japanese or Chinese aged 10 - 16yrs) or accompanying teacher
• willing to complete the State Government form to obtain necessary clearance according to the Child Protection Act
• willing to provide 2 meals (breakfast, dinner) on weekdays and 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) on weekends
• able to provide a suitable sleeping place within the family home (student may share a room with same gender child)
